What is the difference between Downsizing vs. Rightsizing? Actually there is no difference between the two. Both involve the reduction in the amount of material possessions.

Rightsizing takes into account the current environment; downsizing takes into account the future environment. Effective Rightsizing today can make for easier Downsizing tomorrow. In either case, both involve the same principle: maximizing the enjoyment of the possessions we own as well as maximizing the use of the space we live in.
